Indoors when it Rains

Indoors become the play area for kids - the younger generation run to the balcony to click some photos - the older generation run to the terrace to get the drying clothes- chairs and sofa will become the makeshift drying lines - BESCOM cuts the power supply - the umbrellas are opened to bring milk to make tea- piping hot tea is prepared to be drank on the balcony. Lots of commotions yet everyone seems teeming with life when it rains. 

For me the slow drizzle outside, makes the indoor spaces more intimate, the smell of the rain sets a mood that can't be achieved through anything else. On the warm summer afternoons, I sit on my bed and day dream about the rainy evenings. The thought itself brings unexplainable joy.
