Dreamscapes

. Many a Thoughts linger at the back of my mind, Matters that  matter hindered in the grey matter. The distant calling of the crow, the sky is cracked, Embers of the setting sun, Hazy vision of the faraway building.. The electric lines are straight, yet entangled in the sky. The incandescent sun lit up my worldly terrace or is it just the bulb. The world seems as confused as my mind. Surrealism they call it, I call it the powers of the mind to mess with reality. Once out of the office, dodging the crazy Bangalore traffic your mind might not be functioning properly. This series is what   I felt coming home to those beautiful yet perplexing sunsets of the urban Bangalore. Dreamy because the very line which separates the dream and the reality tries to vanish itself while watching these sunsets, because a dream has multiple realms unlike reality. I have used zoom burst and multiple exposures to mess with the reality.

Chitradurga-fort, an unplanned visual story

A cloudless sunny sky welcomed us to Chitradurga, a fort city located in the central Karnataka.The fort is in the heart of the city. The entrance of the fort wi th huge & aged rock walls made us feel so tinier in the time-space continuum. Looking at the rocks helped to push me into a deep contemplation. Further ahead, we had the opportunity to see Mr.Kothiraj climbing those invincible rocks. Perplexed with his ability & courage I managed to take a picture of him. And the man with the orange turban was a luck by chance. I have tried to relate the curving turban with the groovy rocks both symbols of a bygone era. Sun & we were in a race, one to climb up and another to race down. I managed to make a wide frame with Jokali Kamba & deepa sthamba with the sun to create a backlit image. The further climb was difficult as the steps vanished. A little but a steep climb to the top led us to beautiful approaching dusk, On the way i tried to capture a cactus with the dry rock and

Davangere bi annual fair

Davangere: Every two years, the town fest "Durgammana Habba" takes place. Thousands of people from the town and the surrounding villages gather near the durgamma temple. These are the glimpses of the fair i caught using my camera, the nikon D7200.
